All wear-resistant materials have wear and corrosion, include ball and liner. Due to the impact of ball mill grinding media, such as grinding, sliding, rolling, rebound move and the corrosion by the materials, so the liner of ball mill will have to wear.

As the seriously worn out liner, it should to replace it in time, and there is no need to be repaired. Only in the shortage of spare parts, wear less liner could use welding repair method for emergency.

• 1. Remove the liner, and cleaning up its surface until meet the metal surface.
• 2. In order to firmly the liner put the graphite plugs into the liner bolt hole, to ensure the bolt hole not turn small.
• 3. Put the liner on the stage of welding platform, put it in horizontal as far as possible, and at the same time, make the liner board face up.
• 4. Welding electrodes.
• 5. At last remove the burr around the welding slags sundry and lining board. Available manual arc surfacing, it is better to be welded by the high technical level, operation skilled workers in the welding.
• 6. Surfacing process is welding steel layer first, then combination of surfacing welding layer, and finally surfacing welding alloy welding layer. The multilayer welding method can be used to repair the alloy steel ball mill liner.
